Puget Sound Institute of Pathology (PSIP) has now merged into CellNetix Pathology and Laboratories (CellNetix). The senior leaders for the two organizations signed the final documents on March 30, 2017 with the anticipated start date for the new entity as CellNetix Labs, on April 1, 2017.
"Since announcing out intent to merge with PSIP, we have been pleased, and our decision reinforced, as to just how aligned our two businesses truly are." Said Kathleen Fondren, CEO of CellNetix Pathology and Laboratories. "Our shared commitment to deliver excellence to those we serve combined with the unfaltering commitment of the PSIP teams has proven to be a remarkable fit. We look forward to continuing to build off of the synergies created by what were two great organizations as we unite these businesses and make CellNetix even stronger."
With the completion of this merger CellNetix has created one of the largest and most comprehensive privately held pathologist-owned anatomic pathology groups in the United States. CellNetix, with the addition of PSIP, will have an opportunity to better meet the challenges of providing cost effective healthcare in a rapidly changing market.
